Busy Weekend

Our weekend was full of fun and failure. Failure by Josh's truck. On his way home Friday his truck was sputtering, and when he pulled over it stalled. Luckily we have roadside assistance, so he was towed home. Now this wouldn't be so bad if my car was working properly, but it's not. A little over a week ago my headlights went out, I took my car in and it is the switch for the turn signals and low beams. A part you can only get from a dealer, so we are playing the waiting game. Josh hasn't figured out what is wrong with his truck yet, luckily Kylie is home waiting to have her baby and Josh was able to borrow her car for work today. It's dark when he leaves or he would have taken mine, plus we are waiting to hear from the auto-shop saying they have received the part for my car.

On the fun side we went to Funworks for Josh's work party from Pepsi. We left Aaron with Ama Kimmy. It was a lot of fun. We played some arcade games, putt putt golf, and Samantha and Josh rode the race cars and hit balls in the batting cages. They had some really good food there too, and we won an ipod dock from the raffle. We don't have an ipod of course!

Megan favorite thing was the horse ride. Josh let her ride it once before eating, and while sitting and eating she had her eye on it. Another little girl climbed up to start riding it, and Megan put both hands up to her checks and said "Oh no, Megan's horsey!" She was so upset!
She did really good putt putt golfing, for a 2 year old. She would start off hitting it, in her own unique form, then hit it two or three times more and then just pick the ball up and hold it by the hole and hit it with her club into the hole! It was great! Thank you Grandma Kimmy for taking such great care of Aaron so we didn't worry the whole time we were gone! We knew he was in great hands, thanks for keeping him!
One last thing, if I ask Megan for her "Happy face" this is what I get, I love it!

Okay, well my little ones need me, so I will wrap this up for now. Keep your fingers crossed and pray that we figure out what is wrong with Josh's truck and that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to fix! Love you all!

We're back and better than ever, with our new addition, Aaron David Loveland!

Hello everyone! Since my last post, which was almost a year ago, LOTS has happened! Biggest news is of course our new precious son! Aaron David Loveland was born on July 21, 2009 at 8:15 A.M. He weighed 8 lbs. 15oz. and was 18 3/4" long. He was chubby and perfect! I had a few problems after they delivered him. My blood pressure dropped and I hemorrhaged, they gave me two bags of blood. I gave everyone a real good scare, but all is well! I felt much better the next morning. He is 7 weeks old today! His big sisters adore him, as does everyone that meets him!

Samantha is now in 5th grade! Time flies! What is really weird to me, is that my memories really start in 5th grade. I remember so much from 5th grade and beyond. I can't believe my daughter is at that point in her life. She is quite the chatty Cathy. She just signed up for band and she will be playing the flute. Luckily she has a band teacher for an Aunt too if she needs any help! Her newest thing is finding ways to make money. Mom and Don bought her a book called "The smart girl's guide to Money". She took off with ideas. She started her own car washing business at Grandma Debbie's. Also when Josh needed some cash the other day he borrowed it from her and told her we would pay her back when we got cash, as a reminder she handed him an invoice for $6.00 a couple of days later!

As if the antics of a 10 year old are not enough, we have Miss Megan with her very BIG personality! Everyday is something new that makes me laugh. A couple of days ago I had started the water and bubbles for her bath and went to get her a towel. While in my bathroom I heard her run into the living room yelling "Mommy, fly, help, HELP!" She hates flies! So I go into the bathroom and tell her I didn't see one, she slowly walks back into the bathroom and I notice she has the loofah with the long handle. She looks in the bathtub and starts swinging the loofah around and saying "Fly Mommy! Fly!" In the bath on a washcloth amid the bubbles was a spider. I tell her that it isn't a fly it's a spider, and she said, "Oh...spider" looks at it for a second then yells, "HELP!" Biggest character ever! Her iron is going up every visit we have at the Children's hospital. She is no longer dangerously low. Thank God, that was scary!

Josh is still working up in Sonora, he works very hard for our family. Amiee is pregnant with #2 and it is a boy too! So another nephew for me. Kylie is going to have my newest niece Katelynn any day now. She is one of the cutest pregnant woman I've ever seen! I'm not getting much sleep these days, so I think I'll wrap this up for now! Just remembered I had this page and thought it would be nice to write some things down!

Love you all, Love our family of five!

Taking a moment....

Hello out there! I can't believe I actually have a moment to sit and write. I should not have said that so soon, Megan is awake, I could be interupted at any time. We have been quite the busy family lately. Football season is in full swing and that takes up a lot of time. At least now Josh and Samantha only have practice 3 nights a week now instead of 5. They have had 3 games and won 2 of them. The second game was so exciting. They made a touchdown with 30 seconds of the game left, then made a two-point converstion with 11 seconds on the clock, they won by one point! Samantha is doing awesome with her cheering. She does better every week. I love the half-time dances. She works it out! I'll try to get pictures on soon. So our weekends are filled with games on Saturdays and usually something else to do that day and Sunday. Craziness.

Megan is growing like a weed. She is learning something new daily it seems. Right now she and I have colds, not fun. Especially since she doesn't understand why she can't breath out of her nose, it makes sleeping very difficult. She loves to sing, sings all the time to cartoons and such. She is such a busy body. Speaking of busy bodies, Mr. Man is soooooo close to crawling, but that doesn't stop him from getting aroud. I will set him on the ground with some toys and before I know it he's made it across the room. He got his top two teeth, so now he has 4 total and he loves to show them off with his great big smile.

Next week Josh is on vacation, that will be nice. We went to his company's summer party at Funworks on Saturday. It was really nice, they gave us tokens when we walked in and a ticket for a raffle. Then they had a buffet of pizza, salad, and hotdogs, and of course Pepsi. We played some games, put Megan on some little rides and Josh hit some pitches in the batting cages. We didn't have Samantha, I'm sure she would have had a blast, but we plan to take her some time in the future, we saved all the tickets we won. At the raffle Josh won a Dale Jr. metal trash can. He was happy with that.

So this weekend is filled already. Saturday is another game, I'm going Christmas shopping with Mom and Samantha has a sleepover. I was so excited I bought a present for Samantha for Christmas Saturday, that began my Christmas shopping. I'm so proud of myself to start so early. I guess I will go now, I'm not feeling so great. My hubby will be home soon as well. Hope all is well with all of you! Much love! --Lovelands and a Robinson

Here it is Monday again

Well, busy busy busy weekend! But it was great! Saturday was full of cleaning and guests. We got a visit from Melissa and her family, her daughter Sierra is a cheerleader with Samantha and they were on the same softball team. They couldn't make it to Samantha's party Sunday so they came by to bring her a present and visit for a while. Scott, Jen and the girls showed up to spend the night around 4 Saturday and shortly after that Matt, Aimee, and Aedan came over as well. It was a great night. But Sunday was the kicker.

Sunday started off much like Saturday, cleaning. I was non stop the rest of the day. I believe the girls started swimming at 10 am and didn't stop until 7:30 pm, and we had to ask them to get out. Anyhow the party started at 2 pm and everyone arrived at that time! Our pool was busy and our kitchen table was full of presents, snacks, and a big beautiful High School Musical cake. I would post pictures but my camera is acting up and right now I don't have a way to copy them to my computer. She made out like a bandit as usual. Lots of clothes and high school musical stuff. A few toys as well.

It was HOT yesterday, hardly a breeze. But I got to cool down, after Aimee, Matt, and Scott, threw me in the pool. I was not clothes ready to be in the pool, but they didn't mind. So we had a couple of sun burned kids, and a lot of tired adults. In any case our weekend was perfect and we had fun with everyone. Thank you to those who came and to those who couldn't you were missed! Have a great week everyone!

Anniversary and 1st day of school

Hello All! As many of you know yesterday was mine and Josh's second anniversary. Two years went by very fast. We haven't had a date, yet, we plan too believe me. But it's been a very busy couple of weeks and last night was no exception. Josh had football practice and Samantha and I went to her school's back to school night. Where was Megan you ask? Well my Mama watched her so Samantha and I could have some one on one time, and she needed some time with her as well. So Josh and I have decided that sometime this next week we will try to have a date. We are very excited about it.

So my first baby started 4th grade today. It was very difficult for me to accept that she is that old. I was not alone, Grandma Debbie called and wondered how in the world we were able to have a 4th grader already. Samantha was perfectly fine with going back to school. She loves it and I'm so happy she does. I remember I used to get sick on the first day of school every single year, not sick but I would not eat breakfast and I had the biggest butterflies in my belly. Not my kid, she may eat more on the first day to get her started right. I asked her Monday night if she wanted me to walk her to class for the first day or if she wanted Papa to take her. I didn't even get the sentence out and she was saying "Papa, Papa, Papa." She is so independent. She is really looking forward to resuming Friday "dates" with Papa. Papa picks her up from school and they go to eat somewhere and play. She loves that time, and a little birdie told me Papa loves it just as much if not more. When I picked her up today she said she had a great day. She got the teacher she wanted. The only thing she would change if she could is her best friend is not in her class. They played every chance they got today though. They still walk out of school together after school gets out. She told me she wanted to jump in the pool as soon as we got home and I told her she could after her homework, and she said "I don't have homework Mom, but you do". She was not kidding, I had so many papers to fill out. I was going cross-eyed.

If you didn't get the memo Samantha's Birthday Party has been changed from Saturday the 16th, to Sunday the 17th at 2 pm for cake and ice cream, and swimming of course. The football men in our family have a football event to go to all day Saturday, so plans had to change. We are looking forward to seeing everyone. Hope the rest of your week goes great!

Love the Lovelands and a (beautiful 4th grade) Robinson

Wrong time for one game

Sorry the last game on November 1st is at 10 a.m. not 11 a.m.! ;)
