Anniversary and 1st day of school

Hello All! As many of you know yesterday was mine and Josh's second anniversary. Two years went by very fast. We haven't had a date, yet, we plan too believe me. But it's been a very busy couple of weeks and last night was no exception. Josh had football practice and Samantha and I went to her school's back to school night. Where was Megan you ask? Well my Mama watched her so Samantha and I could have some one on one time, and she needed some time with her as well. So Josh and I have decided that sometime this next week we will try to have a date. We are very excited about it.

So my first baby started 4th grade today. It was very difficult for me to accept that she is that old. I was not alone, Grandma Debbie called and wondered how in the world we were able to have a 4th grader already. Samantha was perfectly fine with going back to school. She loves it and I'm so happy she does. I remember I used to get sick on the first day of school every single year, not sick but I would not eat breakfast and I had the biggest butterflies in my belly. Not my kid, she may eat more on the first day to get her started right. I asked her Monday night if she wanted me to walk her to class for the first day or if she wanted Papa to take her. I didn't even get the sentence out and she was saying "Papa, Papa, Papa." She is so independent. She is really looking forward to resuming Friday "dates" with Papa. Papa picks her up from school and they go to eat somewhere and play. She loves that time, and a little birdie told me Papa loves it just as much if not more. When I picked her up today she said she had a great day. She got the teacher she wanted. The only thing she would change if she could is her best friend is not in her class. They played every chance they got today though. They still walk out of school together after school gets out. She told me she wanted to jump in the pool as soon as we got home and I told her she could after her homework, and she said "I don't have homework Mom, but you do". She was not kidding, I had so many papers to fill out. I was going cross-eyed.

If you didn't get the memo Samantha's Birthday Party has been changed from Saturday the 16th, to Sunday the 17th at 2 pm for cake and ice cream, and swimming of course. The football men in our family have a football event to go to all day Saturday, so plans had to change. We are looking forward to seeing everyone. Hope the rest of your week goes great!

Love the Lovelands and a (beautiful 4th grade) Robinson
